Đề bài: In the future, it seems more difficult to live on the Earth. Some people think more money should be spent on researching other planet to live, such as Mars. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Sample 1:

In the future, life seems to be more difficult, so some believe that we should spend more money on space research to see if we could live on another planet, such as Mars. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Due to the fact that we are running out of natural resources and environmental deterioration is proceeding at an astounding rate, it seems that our earth will not be inhabitable in the coming centuries. Some people argue that governments should pour more money in supporting space technologies, which may enable us to colonize other planets. I believe that although space research can bring practical economic benefits to us, policy makers should think twice before making budget plans for space travel, and try to encourage citizens to go green to reverse the trend.

It is first important to realize that supporting space research can accelerate the development of green technologies. Many of the products or designs that were supposed to be used for rockets or satellites have been commercialized and helped us to lead a sustainable lifestyle. Take solar panels for example, they were designed to sustain the operation of satellites in the dark space but now we install tens of millions of solar panels to generate electricity on earth. In this case, a small amount of public funds, which were aimed to serve the space research in one specific field finally led to the general use of clean energy all over the world, and this means that space research not only expand our terrority in space but also enables us to make the best use of resources on earth.

However, a more realistic way of sustaining the civilization of mankind is to pay more attention to the human activities on our mother earth rather than exploiting another planet which is hard to reach. Other planets are still too far away and seen as privileges for a few astronauts instead of the general public, so the exploration of space in the name of saving all human beings is still a pie in the sky. By raising people's environmental awareness and introducing environmentally-friendly technologies, such as the promotion of wind and hydro power, people can change their habits from relying on fossil fuels to embracing alternative energies, thereby leading a sustainable lifestyle and ensuring that we can still live on earth in the future.

In conclusion, despite the fact that space research enables us to find other planets that can be potential homes for us, a more pragmatic method to sustain our civilization is to encourage people to go green and use alternative on earth.

Sample 2:

Many people believe more financial resources should be allocated to universe studies in order to discover a new habitable environment for humans due to the increasingly harsh living conditions on the Earth. In my opinion, this idea is completely justifiable.

The population explosion is the first urgent matter urging results from space studies which currently are in need of more money to afford facilities and modern machinery. The world is facing the threat from the lack of land and accommodation for the ever-increasing rate of birth. Especially in densely populated cities like Hanoi, it is a common picture of people struggling to find an apartment. This forces humans to resort to alternatives of changing living places to other planets. Such an idea would not be actualized without enough money, emphasizing the demand for sponsorships.

Another thing which justifies the budget spent on discovering a new suitable home for human beings is the depletion of natural resources, such as fuel and water. Unfortunately, fossil fuel and water reservoir are being over-exploited for short-term benefits. In the long term, the essential elements for life sustainability will be used up, and human life will be put at stake since there is no fuel to maintain production or transportation. Therefore, if there is even a fragile hope to discover a new environment, people should value the opportunity and invest money in researches on the space to ensure the survival of human race.

In conclusion, I strongly suppose that financial investments on discovering another planet as a new home replacing the Earth are reasonable.
