III.New lesson:

Step 1: Preparation: 12’ When you meet some one on your way home.

How do you say?

- Use the picture to set the sence in an effort to elicit the structrures.

?- Points at the picture and asks: Who are they?

? What are they doing?

- That’s right,today we will study how to greet

- Shows new words by some menthods and lets Ss to guess the meanings of them.

- Reads new words and lets them read in chorus tiwce.

- Calls some Ss to read them again

- Explains the diffirent of (Hello and Hi)

* Checking: R.O.R

- Plays the tape or read part A1 once, then asks Ss to repeat.

- Notice the pronuciation: Hello, Hi.

- Calls some pairs to great each other.

- Control and corect their mistakes

- Calls some Ss to introduce about name base on structruce.

- Eg: S1: I’m Lan

S2: My name is Lan

- Lets them to follow the model first, then use their own names.

- Ss practice in pairs.

- Calls some pairs to speak out.

- Eg: S1: I’m Trung.

S2: My name is Thanh.

Step 3: Futher practice:7’

- Has Ss make a dialogue base on the model dialogue:

- Gets Ss to practice themselves. (Ss work in pairs).

- Corrects their mistakes.

IV: Summary: 3’

T requests 2 Ps to practice in salute

V: Home work 2’

- Learn by heart allthe structrures as well as new words.

- Do exercise:1, 2, 3 (workbork)

- Prepare for next period. (A 5, 6, 7,8 / Unit 1).
