I. AIMS/OBJECTIVES OF THE LESSON

- know the meanings and purposes of some popular holidays and celebrations in Vietnam
- Talk about some popular holidays and celebrations in Vietnam
2. Skills: Speaking + Listening/Writing/Reading
3. Attitudes: Ss are eager to talk about popular celebrations in VN
II. PREPARATION
1. Teacher:
- Teaching aids: Lesson plan, text book
- Teaching method: Communicative language teaching
2. Students: Read Unit 8 - speaking at home
III. PROCEDURE:
1. Class organization (1 minute)
2. Check – up (5 minutes) - Some Ss go to the board, talk about Tet holiday in VN
3. New lesson (35 minutes)
