Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat
- Look at the picture
- Listen to the recording a few times
- Listen and repeat word by word
- Listen, point and repeat
- Practice in pairs
B. Application
- Learn new words by heart.
WEEK 1 – PERIOD 2
UNIT 1: IN THE PARK Lesson 2
I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- point and say some words
- chant beautifully
- listen and tick some pictures
II. Teaching aids
1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette, recording
2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IIII. Procedures
*Warm up: Spend a few minutes revising some words: Ba, Bill, ball, book
A. Practice
Activity 2. Point and say
- Look at the pictures
- Point to the pictures and say aloud.
- Work in pairs
Activity 3. Chant
- Read the chant and check comprehension.
- Play the recording a few times.
- Chant and do the actions.
- Call two groups
* Assessment: Ss’ chant: Chant well
Activity 4. Listen and tick
- Check their comprehension.
- Play the recording
- Listen, do the task and check their answers.

- write correctly and beautifully word B and b
- sing well

2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.

*Warm up: Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson

Activity 5. Let’s talk
- Look at the picture to understand the context
- Point to the pictures and say name of the things/people
- Read sentence: Hi, I’m … and It’s …
- Role play
- Call some pairs
Activity 6. Look and write
- Students observe and say the content
- Write B and b
- Exchange and comment notebooks

Activity 7. Sing!
- Look picture and say the content
- Read the lyrics
- Play the recording to sing the song
- Sing the song and do the actions and call a group to the front of the class to sing.
