UNIT 6: AT THE BREAKFAST TABLE
Lesson 3
I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- give the sentence: I have bread
- write correctly and beautifully word “ea”
- sing well
II. Teaching aids
- Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette, recording
- Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IIII. Procedures
*Warm up: Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson
A. Practice
Activity 5. Let’s talk
- Look at the three pictures to understand the context
- Point to the pictures and say name of the things/food
- Role play
- Call some pairs
Activity 6. Look and write
- Students observe and say the content
- Write ea
- Exchange and comment notebooks
- Read ea and complete : br_ _kfast, br_ _d, h_ _d, sw_ _ter.
** T’s assessment: observing (focus on their exact words)
Activity 7. Sing!
- Look picture and say the content
- Read the lyrics
- Play the recording to sing the song
- Sing the song and do the actions and call a group to the front of the class to sing.
** S’s assessment: chant beautifully
B. Application
- Learn the song by heart.
WEEK 11 – PERIOD 22
UNIT 7: ON THE COAST
Lesson 1
I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, student will be able to:
- identify word OA, sound /eu/
- listen and identify some new words
II. Teaching aids
- Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette, recording
- Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IIII. Procedures
*Warm up: Play the game
A. Presentation
Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat
- Look at the four pictures
- Listen to the recording a few times
- Listen and repeat word by word
- Listen, point and repeat
** T’s assessment: listen and pay attention to their voice, pronunciation and intonation.
B. Practice
Activity 2: Do the workbook
C. Application
- Learn new words by heart.
