By the end of the lesson, student will be able to:
- identify word oo, sound /u:/
- listen and identify some new words: school, balloon, food, scooter
II. Teaching aids
- Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette, recording
- Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IIII. Procedures
*Warm up: Sing
A. Presentation
Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat
- Look at the picture
- Listen to the recording a few times
- Listen and repeat word by word
- Listen, point and repeat
- Work in groups to repeat
** T’s assessment: listen and pay attention to their voice, pronunciation and intonation.
B. Practice
Activity 2: Play game “Slap the board”
Activity 3: Do the workbook
C. Application
- Learn new words by heart.

Lesson 2
I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- identify correctly: school, balloon, food, scooter
- pronounce correctly word oo to chant well
- listen and tick some pictures
II. Teaching aids
- Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette, recording
- Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IIII. Procedures
*Warm up: Spend a few minutes revising some words: school, balloon, food, scooter
A. Practice
Activity 2. Point and say
- Look at the pictures
- Point to the pictures and say words aloud.
- Work in pairs
** Ss & T’s assessment: give oral comments (focus on their exact structure, pronunciation, interaction)
Activity 3. Chant
- Read the chant and check comprehension.
- Play the recording a few times.
- Chant and do the actions.
- Call two groups
Activity 4. Listen and tick
- Check their comprehension
- Play the recording
- Listen and tick
- Check their answers. Then repeat words

B. Application
- Learn a song by heart.
