Like the Y & Y, the Boy Scouts of America (hướng đạo sinh) (BSA) is a youth organization (một tổ chức thanh thiếu niên). It builds character, and encourages good citizenship and personal fitness (xây dựng nhân vật, và khuyến khích công dân tốt và thể dục cá nhân).
Scouting began in England in 1907. Two years later an American businessman (một doanh nhân), William Boyce, got lost in London. A boy helped him and explained that he was a scout.
