I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, student will be able to:
- identify word e, sound /e/
- listen and identify some new words: Ben, eggs, hens, umbrella
II. Teaching aids
1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette, recording
2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IIII. Procedures
*Warm up: Sing
A. Presentation
Activity 1. Look, listen and repeat
- Look at the picture
- Listen to the recording a few times
- Listen and repeat word by word
- Listen, point and repeat
- Work in groups to repeat
** Go around and observe if the students can practice exactly
B. Practice
Activity 2: Do the workbook
** T’s assessment: identify the words
C. Application
- Learn new words by heart.

I. Objectives
By the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
- identify correctly about name of things
- pronounce correctly word e in the words: Ben, eggs, hens, umbrella to chant well
- listen and tick some pictures
II. Teaching aids
1. Teacher’s: student’s and teacher’s book, cassette, recording
2. Students’: books, notebooks, workbooks.
IIII. Procedures
*Warm up: Spend a few minutes revising some words: Ben, eggs, hens, umbrella.
A. Practice
Activity 2. Point and say
- Look at the pictures. Point to the pictures and say words aloud.
- Work in pairs
T’s assessment: give oral comments (focus on their exact words, pronunciation, interaction)
Activity 3. Chant
- Read the chant and check comprehension.
- Play the recording a few times.
- Chant and do the actions. Call two groups
Activity 4. Listen and tick
- Check their comprehension.
- Play the recording.
- Listen and tick. Check their answers.
