For most college students in the United States - especially freshmen - The 2021 schoolyear was anything but normal. Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, many college campuses remained closed, with the majority of classes being held fully or primarily online. Similarly, the college students also were obligated to (11) ______ exams at home, with the help of a mobile phone or a laptop. This also caused trouble for administrators, who (12) ______ make sure that there was no cheating during the tests. These changes caused many undergraduates to feel more stressed out and disconnected from their peers and professors, and accidentally created barriers for learners that fell behind.
