I. First conditional with modals: (Câu điều kiện loại 1)

1. Cấu trúc

Subject + will/ can/ could/ should/ must/ may/ might + V + if + Present Simple

If + Present Simple , Subject + will/ can/ could/ should/ must/ may/ might + V

Ex: - You must study hard if you want to be a psychologist.

- If you like exercise, you could join a sports team.

2. Cách sử dụng

- Nói về những tình huống trong tương lai mà chúng ta tin là có thật hoặc có thể xảy ra.

- Chúng ta thường sử dụng “will” trong mệnh đề chính, nhưng cũng có thể dùng động từ khuyết thiếu “can/ could/ should/ must/ may/ might” cho mục đích khác nhau

Note: * can : chỉ khả năng hoặc năng lực * must : nghĩa vụ

* could: gợi ý * may/might: chỉ khả năng

* should : nên (lời khuyên)

II. Some Verbs + to-infinitive:

 aim/ expect/ decide/ hope/ plan/ want + to-V..

- aim: try to achieve something

Ex: We aim to provide our audience with the best movie watching experience.

- expect:think something will happen

Ex: People expect to see more virtual reality in the future

- decide: choose something after thinking carefully

Ex: We decide to use the latest innovations

- hope: wish for something to happen and think it’s possible

Ex: They hope to have a better understanding of what their audience likes

- plan: have something in your mind as a goal

Ex: We plan to use virtual reality in all of our games

- want: wish for something

Ex: I want to see more personalized content
