I. Objectives
- By the end of this unit, pupils can develop listening skills in English.
- Pupils can understand and enjoy a story
- Pupil can revise numbers 1-5.
II. Procedures
*Warm up: Review school things.
A. Presentation
1. Look and say
Step 1: Say point to picture 1-4.
Step 2: Ask pupils questions about the story in their own language.
Step 3: Ask the pupils what they think of Baz’s behaviour.
B. Practice
1. Listen
Step 1: Play the CD and pause between each frame.
Step 2: Ask pupils to tell you in their own language what they understood..
Step 3: Play CD again.
C. Production
1. Listen and act
Step 1: Play the CD and pause between each frame.
Step 2: Tell the class that they are going to act out the story.
Step 3: Ask other groups to act out the story.
D. Application
- Learn new words by heart.
WEEK 14 – PERIOD 28
REVIEW 4
I. Objectives
- By the end of this unit, pupils can review the letters and sounds for Gg and Hh.
- Pupils can review the numbers 1-5.
- Pupils can develop fine motor control.
II. Procedures
*Warm up: Review the numbers.
A. Presentation
1. Review
Step 1: Teacher says a lot of vocabularies.
Step 2: Pupils repeat after teacher.
Step 3: Pupils do action and say aloud.
B. Practice
1. Match and colour
Step 1: Tell pupils to look at page 31.
Step 2: Ask pupils to say the words for the picture.
Step 3: Pupils draw lines from each of the letters to the correct pictures.
C. Production
1. Join the dots. Colour.
Step 1: Tell pupils to look at activity on page 31.
Step 2: Tell them to connect the numbers to complete the horse.
Step 3: Pupils complete the activity by colouring the horse.
D. Application
- Learn vocabularies by heart.
