Lan and Nga want to make a small survey of their friends' favorite leisure activities. They are asking their friends about what they like to do in their free time. Many of their friends say that they usually eat and drink as well as chat with their friends.They lkie to talk about many things around them such as their teachers, their friends, their families as well as their favorite musicians, singers, fottballers and movie stars.

At home, many friends say they like watching TV, listening to music or playing video games. They rarely go to the movies. Some girls like shopping. A few like collecting stamps or coins. Very few take part in football or music clubs. Many don’t often attend youth organiztions.

Students nowadays have more chances to take part in after-school activities. Some students stay at school and play sports such as football, badminton and table tennis. These sports help them relax. Other students listen to music or go to drama clubs. They practise playing musical instruments or rehearse for a play. They feel happy when they take part in these activities.
