I. Lý thuyết thì tương lai đơn - The simple future tense

Thì tương lai đơn (Future Simple Tense) dùng để diễn tả một hành động, sự việc sẽ xảy ra trong tương lai nhưng không có dự định hoặc kế hoạch từ trước. Thì này thường được áp dụng khi đưa ra quyết định ngay tại thời điểm nói, lời hứa, lời mời hoặc dự đoán.

Dưới đây là các cấu trúc và cách dùng chi tiết cần nắm vững cho chương trình lớp 10:

1. Công thức (Form)

Khẳng định (+):

S + will + V-inf (V-inf là động từ nguyên thể)

Ví dụ:

I will help you with your homework. (Tôi sẽ giúp bạn làm bài tập về nhà.) 

Phủ định (-):

S + will + not + V-inf (will not = won't)

Ví dụ:

He will not (won't) come to the party.

(Anh ấy sẽ không đến bữa tiệc.) 

Nghi vấn (?):

Will + S + V-inf?

-> Yes, S + will. / No, S + won't.

Ví dụ:

Will you marry me? (Em sẽ cưới anh chứ?)

2. Cách sử dụng (Usage)

Quyết định tức thì: Quyết định làm gì đó ngay tại thời điểm nói.

Ví dụ: I am thirsty. I will get a glass of water. (Tôi khát quá. Tôi sẽ lấy một cốc nước.) 

Dự đoán: Đưa ra dự đoán về một sự việc trong tương lai dựa trên suy nghĩ, quan điểm cá nhân (thường đi với think, believe, suppose).

Ví dụ: I think it will rain tomorrow. (Tôi nghĩ ngày mai trời sẽ mưa.) 

Lời hứa / Lời đề nghị:

Ví dụ: I will call you when I arrive. (Tôi sẽ gọi cho bạn khi tôi đến nơi.)

3. Dấu hiệu nhận biết

Trong bài thi thường xuất hiện các từ khóa chỉ thời gian tương lai kèm theo trạng từ chỉ sự không chắc chắn: 

Trạng từ: tomorrow, next week/month/year, in the future, soon.

Động từ/Cụm từ chỉ quan điểm đi kèm: think, believe, suppose, expect, perhaps, probably.

Bài 3. Put the verbs in brackets into the Simple Future Tense (will + V-infinitive)
