I. GRAMMAR:
1. The Simple Present Tense: (Thì hiện tại đơn)
* TO BE:
+/ Khẳng định: S + am/ is/ are ...
I am ('m)
He/ she/ it/ this/ that/ Nam/ danh từ số ít... is ('s)
You/ we/ they/ these/ those/ Na and Bao/ số nhiều... are ('re)
+/ Phủ định: S + am not/ is not (isn't)/ are not (aren't)....
+/ Nghi vấn: Am/ Is/ Are + S...?
Ex: This is my mother.
She isn't a teacher.
Are Hoa and Nga eleven?
* Động từ thường:
+/ Khẳng định: S + V(s,es)
I, You, We, They, danh từ số nhiều.... + V
He, She, It, tên riêng 1 người, d.từ số ít..... + Vs/ es
(goes/ does/ brushes/ watches/ finishes/ washes/ has...)
+/ Phủ định: S (I, You, We, They...) + do not (don't) + V
S (He, She. It...) + does not (doesn't) + V
+/ Nghi vấn: Do/ Does + S + V?
+/ Câu hỏi có từ để hỏi: Wh-question + do/ Does + S + V?
Ex: Nam listens to music after school.
I don't go to school in the afternoon.

What do you do every morning?
How does she go to school?
Cách dùng: Diễn tả 1 thói quen, 1 hành động xảy ra thường xuyên ở hiện tại.
Thường dùng với: Always/ often/ usually/ sometimes/ never/ everyday/ every morning/ after shool/ after dinner....
2. The present progressive tense: (Thì hiện tai tiếp diễn)
+/ Khẳng định: S + am/ is/ are + Ving.
+/ Phủ định: S + am not/ is not/ are not + Ving.
+/ Nghi vấn: Am/ Is/ Are + S + Ving?
+/ Wh-questions:
What/ Where + is (she/ he) + Ving?
are they +Ving?
Ex: Nam and Bao are playing soccer.
My mother isn't working now.
Are they doing their homework?
What are you doing?
Cách dùng: Diễn tả 1 hành động đang xảy ra vào lúc nói, thường dùng với: now, at the moment, at present
Ex: We are watching television now.
Diễn tả 1 hành động mang tính chất tạm thời, không thường xuyên.
Ex: Everyday I go to school by bike, but today I am going by bus.
3. Từ để hỏi:
What: cái gì
Where: đâu, ở đâu
When: khi nào
Which: nào, cái nào
Who: ai
How: như thế nào
How old: bao nhiêu tuổi
How many + N(s/ es):danh từ số nhiều: bao nhiêu (số lượng)
4. Cấu trúc
There is + a/ an + N
There are + N (s/ es)
5. Số đếm, số thứ tự
6. Các giới từ chỉ vị trí
In, on, at, near, next to, in front of, behind, to the left of, to the right of, between... and, opposite...

How are you/ your parents (bố mẹ bạn)/ children (các con bạn)? I'm/ they are fine. Thank you.

Where does he/ she live? He/ She lives at/ on/ in......
Where do you work? I work in a hospital.
Where does he/ she work? He/ she works in a factory.
How old are you? I'm + tuổi years old.
How old is he/ she? He/ She is + tuổi years old.
How do you spell your name/ it? (bạn đánh vần..... như thế nào)
What is this/ that? It's a/ an + N.
What are these/ those? They are + N(s/ es).
Is this/ that a/ an +N? Yes, it is/ No, it isn't.
Are these/ those + N (s/ es)? Yes, they are/ No, they aren't.
Who is this/ that? This/ that is + người/ tên.
Who are these/ those? They are......
How many + N(s/ es) are there in....? = How many + N(s/ es) do/ does .......have?
There is/ are + số lượng = S + have/ has + số lượng
How many teachers are there in your school? = How many teachers does you school have?
There are 30 teachers = My school has 30 teachers.
10. Nói về nghề nghiệp
What do you do? I'm a/ an + nghề.
What does he/ she do? He/ She is a/ an.....
11. Where is your classroom? It's on the first/ second floor.
Where are they? They are in the living room
12. Which grade/ class are you in? I'm in grade/ class 6/ 6A

14. What do/ does + S+ do every morning/ day/ after school?

S + go(es)/ travel(s) to......by + phương tiện
S + go(es)/ travel(s) to......on foot = S walk(s) to.....

How is she traveling? She is traveling by car.
