Bài tập thì quá khứ đơn và quá khứ tiếp diễn dưới đây giúp người học ôn lại công thức, cách dùng và dấu hiệu nhận biết của hai thì quá khứ thường gặp. Tài liệu gồm nhiều dạng bài như chia động từ, chọn đáp án, tìm lỗi sai, viết lại câu với “when” và “while”, kèm đáp án và giải thích cụ thể. Qua đó, học sinh có thể nhận biết chính xác hành động đã hoàn thành, hành động đang diễn ra và hành động xen vào tại một thời điểm trong quá khứ.

I. Phân biệt thì quá khứ đơn (Past Simple) và quá khứ tiếp diễn (Past Continuous):

II. Những lỗi thường gặp khi làm bài
Dùng didn’t + V2 thay vì didn’t + V nguyên thể.
Thiếu động từ to be trong cấu trúc was/were + V-ing.
Chia cả hai hành động ở quá khứ đơn dù một hành động đang diễn ra.
Cho rằng sau when luôn dùng quá khứ đơn và sau while luôn dùng quá khứ tiếp diễn.
Nhầm was và were.
Dùng một số động từ trạng thái như know, understand, like ở dạng tiếp diễn không phù hợp.

Exercise 2: Choose the correct answer

Exercise 3: Read the letter and write the missing words. Write one word on each line
Dear Georgia,

Exercise 6: Supply the correct tenses of the verbs in brackets
