Hello everyone and welcome to Mike and Sarah's wedding. While the bride and groom are busy with a photographer, allow me to give you a quick description of the wedding venue so that you can find everything you need. So, we are standing at the main entrance at the front of the site. If you look straight in front of you, opposite the entrance, you can see the wedding reception tent where the wedding dinner will take place shortly. To the left of that is the evening tent with a stage and a large dance floor. There will be a live band that will play a wide range of popular songs as well as a DJ later on. Behind the main tent, there is the children's tent with entertainers to keep the young ones happy. On the right of the main entrance, you will find a gift table where you can leave your wedding presents and a writing desk with a guest book where we invite all guests to leave a message for the happy couple. Then, on the left is a cloakroom where you can leave your coats, hats and bags if you wish. Next to that are the toilet facilities. Okay, that's everything. Now please follow me to the open area, right of the main tent for a drinks reception where you can all enjoy some canapés in the drink before the bride and groom arrive. Have a great time and just ask if you need any more information.

Almost everyone in the world celebrates New Year's Eve, and there are different traditions in different countries. Let's look at some fun celebrations from around the world. In Spain, people really know how to have fun. On New Year's Eve, there is a tradition of eating a very long meal with family and friends that lasts right up until midnight. Then, at the stroke of midnight, people eat a total of 12 grapes, one each time the bell chimes. Superstition says, if you can eat them all in time, you can expect a year of good luck. After midnight in Barcelona, lots of people gather in Plaza de Catalunya to watch the fireworks display and then have a big street party that lasts all night. In Colombia, if you wish for a year filled with travel and new adventures, the tradition is to get your empty suitcases and walk around the block with them on New Year's Eve, and your wish will come true. That's why on New Year's Eve, you can see lots of people walking around with their suitcases in their hands. In Panama, the New Year tradition is for people to burn life-size models of famous people, such as TV characters or politicians. People believe these models, or Munjekos, will drive away evil spirits because they represent the old year and burning them welcomes the New Year and a new start. In Johannesburg in South Africa, the local tradition on New Year's Eve is to throw up the old to welcome the new. People throw old appliances and equipment out of the window, so be careful if you are walking by.
