Student 2: The university I'm looking at has both of those. But it doesn't usually put on many events.

Student 1: I don't mind that. Can you send the information to me?

Student 2: Sure.

2. Boy: Do you think being an interior designer is a good job?

Mom: Yes, you could work on many projects like homes, offices and schools. That'll make the job interesting.

Boy: That's true. What about the bad things?

Mom: Well, it could be stressful. You know, your customers could have lots of requests and it isn't easy to make everyone happy.

3. Girl: Hi, grandpa. How was your day?

Grandfather: It was great. I just finished my first dance class.

Girl: Hmm. I thought you’re taking a gardening class.

Grandfather: I am but that's in the morning.

Girl: Oh, you do a lot.

Grandfather: Yes, well, your grandma had a passion for dancing and always wanted me to dance with her. But I was always too busy. I want to do this to remember her.

Girl: That's so sweet of you.

4. Student 1: Hey, how was your talk with Mrs. Brown?

Student 2: It was good. She said my essay was better and also gave me some study tips.

Student 1: Cool. What did she say?

Student 2: She told me to check out some websites with free tutorials. She also gave me some suggestions to make better visual aids. I'll send you a picture of my notes.

Student 1: Thanks a lot.

5. Friend: Have you thought about your future career Jane?

Jane: Yes, I want to be a beautician.

Friend: Nice, I think you’ll be a great beautician.

Jane: Thanks. I need to take some courses since there's so much to learn. And my mom said if I want to open my own business, she’ll help me but I'm going to work at a spa first to get some experience.
