I. Objective: by the end of the lesson, students will be able to:
+) review 5 letters: K, L, M, N, O
+) review the words: kite, monkey, lion, school, mother, mango, nose, knee, orange, one
+) review and learn some sentences
II. Language focus:
+) Pronunciation: K, L, M, N, O
+) Vocabulary: kite: cánh diều, monkey: con khỉ, lion: sư tử, school; trường học, mother: mẹ, mango: quả xoài, nose; cái mũi, knee: đầu gối, orange: quả cam, one: số 1.
III. Teaching aids: Text book, work book, a real ball, a real book
IV. Procedures
1) Listen and repeat

- Guide students to read and read the words aloud.
- Ask students to look at the board and listen carefully.
- Ask students to repeat the letters and the words.
- Call on all of students to read in pairs.
- Correct the pronunciation mistake of students.
2) Read and match

- Ask students to say the words again.
- Guide students to look at the picture in the text-book and match the words with the suitable pictures.
- Call on some students to give results, others recommend.
- Comments.
3) Read and complete the sentences

- Read aloud and ask students to listen carefully.
- Guide students to find the words in the pictures to complete the sentences.
- Ask them to work in pairs.
- Call on some pairs to give results, others recommend.

4) Listen and read
Kick the ball hard.

Swing like a monkey.
Touch your known and then your knee.
Open your book and read after me.
- Read aloud and ask students to listen carefully.
- Guide students to read each word and whole sentence.
- Guide them to practice in pairs.
