I. Objectives:
By the end of the lesson, Ss will be able to:
- say their telephone numbers.
- listen and identify the telephone numbers of their friends.
- listen and write some information through the dialogue.
II. Language contents:
1.Grammar: Simple future tense , Numbers
2.Vocabulary: telephone directory, telephone number
III. Techniques: Picture drills, pair- work, role -play
IV. Teaching aids: a cassette, pictures
V. Procedures:

1.Warm up Write the answers to the questions about yourself: What is your name? How old are you? Where do you live? How far is it from your house to school? How do you go to school? Ask some questions: Does your family have a telephone? What’s your phone number? 2.Presentation +Practice: + Activity 1: A1.Read Introduce how to read the telephone numbers. Ask students to look at the page and guess what it comes from. Elicit how to read telephone number. Explain how to read the numbers with a focus on combinations. Let students read aloud the numbers. Have Ss practice in pairs. + Activity 2: A2. Listen and write the telephone numbers. Play the cassette and let students write down the numbers. Check students’ answers. Let them listen again. Have students cross-check the answers. Have students write in the notebooks. + Activity 3: A5.Listen. Then write the answers. - T asks students some questions to set new situation. Do you sometimes go to the movie? How do you get to the theater? Where do you often meet? Ss. listen and fill in the information in the box. Have students cross-check their answers with one another. Let students write the correct answers on the board.
