Lý thuyết về Phân biệt A/ An/ Some/ Any lớp 6
Để phân biệt cách dùng A / An / Some / Any, chúng ta dựa vào loại danh từ (đếm được hay không đếm được) và loại câu (khẳng định, phủ định hay nghi vấn).
1. Bản chất cốt lõi
A / An: Nghĩa là "một". Chỉ đi với danh từ đếm được số ít.
Some / Any: Nghĩa là "một vài", "một ít". Đi với danh từ đếm được số nhiều và danh từ không đếm được.

3. Mẹo làm bài không lo bị bẫy
Mẹo với A và An
Xét chữ cái đầu tiên của từ đứng ngay sau: Nếu thuộc nhóm u, e, o, a, i (mẹo nhớ: uể oải), hãy dùng An.
Lưu ý lớp 6: Từ "hour" (giờ) âm "h" bị câm nên dùng an hour. Từ "university" phát âm là /juː/ (phụ âm) nên dùng a university.
Mẹo với Some và Any
Thấy câu có NOT (n't) hoặc dấu ? → Chọn Any.
Thấy câu mời lịch sự bắt đầu bằng "Would you like...?" hoặc yêu cầu "Can I have...?" → Dù có dấu ? vẫn phải chọn Some.
