Cathy: Wow. Did you get it for your birthday last week?
Nick: Yes, I did. I asked my parents for a laptop, but my mum told me that a smartphone would be more useful. Yesterday I used it to find information to do my homework.
Cathy: Really?
Nick: Yes. I can also use it to send my friends text messages. Or I go on social media to chat with them online. I love it.
Cathy: I don't have a smartphone. I like my tablet though.
Nick: What do you use it for?
Cathy: I use it to send messages to my friends and family, play games and watch videos online. I use it to do homework too. Of course.
Nick: That's great.
