We’re going to present some findings of our research on Family Day in Viet Nam. Family Day is  annually celebrated on the 28th of June. The Family Day was First held in Vietnam in 2001 by Deputy Prime Minister Pham Gia Khiem. This holiday celebrates the Vietnamese family and its core values, such as prosperity, equality, progression, and happiness. On this day, some cities in Vietnam promote festivals and different sorts of cultural and sportive activities for all families. There are also campaigns for gifting orphans and children in need.

We’re going to present some findings of our research on Family Day in Canada. Family Day is celebrated on the 3rd Monday of February. First held in Alberta in 1990, Family Day was proposed by the province's former premier, Don Getty, after his son was arrested for dealing drugs. As we all know, family is not an important thing; it’s everything. Therefore, Family Day is supposed to reflect the values of family and home that were important to the pioneers who founded Alberta, and to give workers the opportunity to spend more time with their families. On Family Day, many people plan and take part in activities aimed at the whole family. These include visiting art exhibitions, watching movies, skating on outdoor ice rinks, playing board games, and taking part in craft activities. Some communities plan special public events, and art galleries and museums may have reduced price or free entry. These are all of our findings.

It helps raise awareness of family issues, encourages people to spend more time with their loved ones, and strengthens family bonds. Families also spend quality time together, such as going on trips or simply relaxing at home.
