Today I’m going to talk about the topic Personal electronic devices in class – to use or not to use.
Do you like your electronic devices? Do you want to use it at school? Well, you have come to the right place. By electronics in school can mean you can use your phones, laptops, Ipads, and tablets in school. In my opinion, electronic devices should be used in school because their benefits are much more noticeable.
To begin with, cell phones are needed in school because a student can have an emergency. Cellphones and smartphones can offer parents a little more peace of mind when their children are at school. Parents know that in an emergency the student can contact them, or vice versa. In addition, more and more cellphones and smartphones contain GPS devices that can be tracked if necessary.
Moreover, compared to traditional learning methods, these devices supply students with a more diverse source of information, pictures and videos, which assist in illustration while studying. By means of tablets, phones and laptops, students are more likely to have a better grasp of lessons. Furthermore, there are numerous applications utilized in studying. Rather than spending time on textbooks, teachers can allow students to listen to podcasts or improve pronunciation through voice recognition apps. Another point in favour of advantages is that electronic gadgets prompt students' self- reliance. Though there are questions whether numerous online sources of information are reliable or not, they are still served as helpful materials for students to learn on their own. For example, they are able to find the meaning of a word by looking up in a dictionary on their phone instead of asking teachers.
In short, exerting individual electronic devices in classroom has been a successful step in the revolution of learning methods. Personal electronic devices may bring more good to students, so I suggest that teachers should support their use in the classroom.
