I. Cấu trúc với Please tiếng Anh

Please được dùng trong: 

• Lời yêu cầu hay đề nghị

Ví dụ: Please pass me the book. (Làm ơn đưa cho tôi cuốn sách.)

• Yêu cầu lịch sự trong email, thư

Ví dụ: Please find the attached report you requested in this mail. (Xin vui lòng tìm file báo cáo đính kèm mà bạn đã yêu cầu.)

• Lời mời gọi lịch sự

Ví dụ: Please come to my birthday party the next day. (Tham gia bữa tiệc sinh nhật của tôi vào ngày tới nhé.)

• Yêu cầu sự cho phép

Ví dụ: Can I please borrow your book? (Tôi có thể mượn sách của bạn

II. Câu mệnh lệnh dạng phủ định với Don't/ Do not

Câu mệnh lệnh trực tiếp: Chỉ cần thêm “don’t” vào trước động từ thường, động từ tobe hoặc “no” trước danh động từ.

Don’t/ Do not + V(Inf) + O.

Ví dụ:

Don’t forget your promise. (Đừng thất hứa nhé)

III. Cách dùng cấu trúc “There is/ There are”

Cấu trúc There is

There is + a/an/one/the + danh từ số ít

Ví dụ:

There is a book, a pen and a ruler on the table. (Có một quyển sách, một cái bút và một cái thước kẻ ở trên bàn.)

Cấu trúc There are

There are + danh từ đếm được số nhiều

Ví dụ:

There are two dogs in the house. (Có hai con chó ở trong nhà.) 

IV. Khi muốn nói ai đó đã làm gì vào thời gian nào đó

Cấu trúc:

S + V(ed/pt II) + O

Ví dụ:

I went to a birthday party last weekend. (Tôi đã đi dự tiệc sinh nhật vào cuối tuần trước.)

He had a lot of work during Christmas. (Anh ấy có rất nhiều việc phải làm trong dịp Giáng sinh.)
