My family have just moved to a new city for a week and today was my first day in my new school. Everything was new: new classrooms, new teachers and new classmates. I didn’t know anybody. I just stood in front of the classroom’s door and my new classmates were looking at me curiously. But everything changed when my new teacher appeared, guided me to class, introduced me to the whole class and asked the monitor to support me. Linda is a nice class monitor. She helped me to make friends with other students. At that time, I didn’t feel alone on my first day in my new school. I hope I will have wonderful time here.

Re: My dad is too strict.

I feel sad when my dad set a time for me to come home in the evening. He requies me to come back home before 9 o’clock every everning. I have asked them to give me a later curfew as I want to spend more time with my friends but they don't agree.

Last night, I attended my friend’s birhday party at her house. The party was so wonderful but I forgot the curfew. My dad was very upset and he called me constantly. I asked him to allow me stay there later. However, he said that if I didn’t come back home right away, he would pick me up. I had no choice, so I said goodbye to my friends and went home. My dad wasn’t fexible when he could allow me to come back home later because of my friend’s birthday.

I wish my dad would allow me to stay out until 10 o’clock. How should I do to change his mind?
