THE DAILY LIFE OF A JAPANESE TEENAGER

Akari is 13 years old. She lives in Osaka with her family. Every morning, she has breakfast at a low table which is called a ‘kotatsu’. She often has steamed rice, miso soup and grilled fish, then she completes her breakfast with a cup of hot green tea. After breakfast, she walks to school.
