Good afternoon and welcome to Channel 3 News, where we keep you, the viewers, updated on all of the recent and upcoming events that you need to know about. Our scheduled news programming for this evening includes various segments that will take place in the following order. At 7:00 p.m., we will begin the evening's news programming with the daily headlines, covering the main events within the country in the past 24 hours. At 7:15 p.m., we will begin the in-depth news section, where we discuss both national and international news stories. After that, at 7:45 p.m., we will begin our politics section. In this section, we will discuss new developments related to this year's election. At 8:15 p.m., we will have our weekly entertainment news section, where our entertainment journalists will discuss a variety of upcoming films and offer reviews of the newest programs that you can watch on our channel. We will follow this with our sports segment at 8:45 p.m. and go through all of the most important sports events from the past week, including the results of the National Football League. Finally, we will end our evening's news programming with a 10-minute weather segment at 9:00 p.m., providing updates and safety information regarding the weather for the upcoming week. For all this, tune in to channel 3 news at 7:00 p.m. this evening.

Dave: Since Wi-Fi is available everywhere nowadays, I spend quite a lot of time browsing social media sites. I don't usually post much to be honest, however, I do enjoy seeing other people's posts. It helps me know how my friends and family are doing in their lives.

Sarah: I've got quite a busy life, so I don't get much time to use media for entertainment. However, I always turn on the radio on my drive to work. There's a short broadcast on the local radio at 8 o'clock every morning, and it gives an update on the most important events of the past 24 hours. It helps me to keep up to date on what's happening in my area.

Ben: Nowadays, it can be difficult to find good quality content online. That's why I think it's worth supporting the media companies that publish accurate and engaging information. For a small amount of money, I get access to online articles by the best journalists in the field every month.

Lucy: I moved abroad last year, and one of the biggest challenges is finding time to stay in touch with everyone back home. So I started uploading a short series of photos on my wall every week. This allows me to let everyone know what I'm up to. It's highly convenient.

Jake: Social media is great because it allows us to connect and stay in touch with lots of people at once. However, sometimes I want to have one-to-one conversations with someone without any distractions or interruptions from others. That's when I use the private chat feature on social media. Everything chatting allows me to have more meaningful conversations than replying to the comments under a post.
