Trong trường hợp dùng mệnh đề “that” thì động từ theo sau luôn ở dạng nguyên thể không “to” Ví dụ: The doctor suggests that he lose some weights. |
Lỗi sai thường gặp
Dùng “to V” sau suggest
Sai:
- ❌ She suggested to visit the museum.
Đúng:
- ✅ She suggested visiting the museum.
Dùng tân ngữ trực tiếp trước “to V”
Sai:
- ❌ My teacher suggested me to study harder.
Đúng:
- ✅ My teacher suggested that I should study harder.
Chia động từ sau “should”
Sai:
- ❌ He suggested that we should went home.
Đúng:
- ✅ He suggested that we should go home.
Quên đổi đại từ khi viết lại câu
Câu gốc:
- “You should revise the lesson,” my teacher said to me.
Viết lại:
- ✅ My teacher suggested that I should revise the lesson.
